Q: How is the color added to embossed images?
A: There are many ways to add color to an image that has been embossed using a folder. The folder itself can be inked using an ink pad and then the paper placed inside before running it through the embossing machine. An inked brayer can be lightly rolled over the image after it has been embossed or ink can be placed on an inking tool and it can be added onto the paper before embossing it.
Q: I have trouble picking up small embellishments and then by the time I do they are wrinkled. Is there something that I can use for this?
A: There are several good pick up tools that have been designed to help with this. They have a tacky area that will stick to the item to pick it up, but also will release it when you need. Two of them that are great to use are the Embellie Gellie and the Kook Tac Pick ‘N Place Embellishment Pencil.
