Q: What can Gelatos be used for?
A: There are many uses for them. Two of the most often used are for stamping by spritzing the stamp with water and then apply the Gelato and stamping the image onto card stock. Another is by using your fingers to rub them on to create a background. They give a watercolor look and are great to use for a project that you want to add some softness on.
Q: How can clear glitter be used?
A: Clear glitter adds a great shine over an image that has been colored using colored pencils or markers. Once the glue is dry, the colors show through the glitter. It, also, makes a great shiny snow for winter.
Q: What is the difference between some of the Stickles?
A: Some of them are a distress stickle and they are not as shiny when dry.
Q: I’d like to start a craft hobby, but I’m not sure card making or scrapbooking is for me. What else is there?
A: A lot of people enjoy creating things such as journals, albums and mini books using chipboard albums. They can be decorated any way you like and can be kept for yourself or given as gifts. Patterned paper, stamps, and embellishments such as flowers or die cuts are just a few things to add to the books to make them your own.
Q: My dies have a lot of small areas to them. What is a good way to remove the pieces after the paper is die cut?
A: A piercing tool or pick works great to remove those little pieces. It fits into those hard to get areas without bending the design around it.
